Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actress best known for the performance as Missandei (HBO's fantasy epic Game of Thrones) from between 2011 and 2019 she was an British actress. Emmanuel was born in Southend-on-the-Sea a resort in Essex and was attracted to the performing arts at a young age. She noticed her mother's interest and she began enroling her in dance, sing and acting classes when she was just 3 years old. Emmanuel was a highly skilled actress and singer. The role she was given was an infant Nala at The West End in the film "The Lion King" at the end of the 1990s. Emmanuel began her auditions in her teens for film and TV roles. She was able to land her first big role, when she appeared as Sasha Valentine in the British soap series Hollyoaks (Channel 4 1995-). Emmanuel was in the role for four seasons. She then quit the series in 2010. Emmanuel's next big break occurred three years later when she was cast in the role of Missandei as the character's interpreter Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Emmanuel will go on to appear in each subsequent episode of "Game of Thrones"" up to the series finale on May 19, 2019.
